Turn iPhone photos (HEIC) into a PDF a website will accept
You photographed a document with your iPhone, try to upload it, and the site says "unsupported format". iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, and many government, school and job portals only accept PDF or JPG.
Step by step
- Open HEIC to PDF on Convert Magician, on your iPhone or computer.
- Select your photos. Several photos become one PDF, one page each.
- Check the order, then download the PDF.
- Upload the PDF to the website. Compress it first if there is a size limit.
Good to know
- Each photo is turned upright automatically, using the orientation saved by the camera.
- Need JPG instead? Use HEIC to JPG.
- Paper document? Scan to PDF also cleans up contrast so it looks like a real scan.
Questions
Do I need to change my iPhone settings?
No. You can keep HEIC (it saves space) and convert only when a website asks for PDF.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The conversion happens on your phone or computer.
