Why your files stay private

Most online PDF services upload your document to their servers, process it there and send it back. Convert Magician works differently. When you open a tool, the software runs inside your browser tab. Your file is read from your disk, changed in memory and saved back to your device.

This matters for contracts, ID documents, medical records and anything confidential. It is also faster: there is no upload or download wait, even for large files.

Is Convert Magician really free?

Yes. All tools are free to use without an account. The site is funded by advertising, which is why you may see ads around the tools.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Processing happens in your browser. The only thing downloaded from our server is the tool itself; your document is never sent anywhere.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit. Very large files (several hundred MB) depend on your device memory. On phones, keep files under about 100 MB for best results.

Which browsers are supported?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
