About this tool
Choose a compression level and, optionally, a maximum width or height. Photos from phones often shrink by 70 to 90 percent with no visible difference on screen. PNG images are converted to WebP when the browser supports it, which keeps transparency and saves the most space. If an image cannot be made smaller, you get the original back.
