About this tool
Covering text with a black shape is not enough: the text underneath can still be copied. Convert Magician draws your boxes and then rebuilds each affected page as an image, so the hidden information is truly removed. Search for a word or number to box every occurrence at once. Document properties are cleared as well.

Questions
Is the redaction permanent?
Yes. Redacted pages are rebuilt, so the covered text no longer exists in the file.
Will the rest of the document change?
Pages without redactions are kept exactly as they were.
Is Convert Magician really free?
Yes. All tools are free to use without an account. The site is funded by advertising, which is why you may see ads around the tools.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Processing happens in your browser. The only thing downloaded from our server is the tool itself; your document is never sent anywhere.
